We hear from technology entrepreneurs, futurists, and some media outlets, that automation will lead to a bright future.

Well ,

Lucky for us all Our manager invited us to a session related to “Robotic Process Automation”.

Well it was a good session for the basic understanding of how it works and aims grow as a product.

Here is what I learnt :

 RPA helps us to automate the repetitive tasks that are more time consuming and you don’t require much thinking or critical analysis into it.

RPA scenarios range from something as simple as generating an automatic response to an email to deploying thousands of bots, each programmed to automate jobs in an application as big as an REP or CRM system.

Examples to help you Understand :

Order Placement :

Scenario : Customer places an Order and then The order has to pass to many approvals and repositories for the actual dispatch and also to maintain the inventory recordings different than the customer facing orders. A person on the Back end is dealing with all the data entry for each order. Imagine this is a business on a bigger scale where thousands of employees are on the same task globally.

This is time consuming and requires a lot of Manual data entry work that requires no Critical analysis and decision making.

Solution :

We can deploy our RPA solution for this process. Set the Rules and instructions for the Order Journey. And  hand over to the RPA as the whole process of order placement will be automated from end to end. This can be maintained better than having any manual errors that could be caused out of misunderstandings

Data Scraping :

Scenario :

Stalke holders of stock business need to have the insights of all the history related to all kinds of crypto currency and the rise and fall of specific ones in different years .

This requires a Data analyst or a Research analyst to visit different crypto websites and blogging websites to get the required data and summarize it , this is a time consuming task.

Solution :

RPA software’s are the perfect choice to put them into implementation for this specific usecases as the data that needs to be collected or scraped off the websites are already known – for example, stock trading websites, futures trading websites, commodities trading websites, news and media sites (based on keywords).
